ONE-on-ONE Creative Mentorship

mdempsterGP-205

A ONE-ON-ONE CREATIVE MENTORSHIP session can help you reconnect with your creative power and learn how to tend to it with care.

Each of us has a way of seeing and sensing that is ours alone. But somewhere along the way, many of us learned to dismiss it, or worse berate it: "I'm not creative." "I'm not an artist." "Who am I to make things?"

There is material in everything—every word, every emotion, every mess, every moment. The physicality of making is one of the most powerful tools we have to metabolize experience and heighten our receptivity and liberate ourselves.

What to expect:

  • Rhythm, Ritual, and Record – Sessions built around practices that sustain a creative life
  • Gentle Prompts & Experimentation – Art journaling, writing, collage, drawing, photography, or stitching
  • Meaningful Conversation with Yourself – A practice that feels permissive, spacious, tender, and surprising

This isn't about making "good art"—it's about reclaiming time to create, practice listening to your intuition, following your attention and trusting your hands.

Perfect for:

  • Anyone feeling creatively stuck or in transition
  • Those ready to tend their creativity with regular devotion
  • People seeking to metabolize life experience through making

No experience needed. Just curiosity and willingness to follow the thread of your own attention.

I design each session around what will truly support you, wherever you are right now. Together, we play in ways that spark insight, leave you feeling resourced, and awaken a fresh sense of possibility.

A note: This is a playful, exploratory creative process—not psychotherapy. While the work can be deeply personal and transformative, it's grounded in creative practice and intuitive play.

Let's book a play date!

ART-JOURNALING WORKSHOPS

Bespoke creative sessions

These workshops offer participants a gentle place to slow down, listen inward, and visually or symbolically record what is unfolding. Through guided art-journaling prompts, simple rituals, and intuitive mark-making, participants create a meaningful record of their experience and discover practices they can return to on repeat.

These sessions help participants:

  • keep a creative record of key insights as they emerge
  • be in creative dialogue with themselves
  • integrate breakthroughs and highlight epiphanies
  • start a beautiful journal that becomes a keepsake and a constant invitation

Perfect as a grounding morning practice, a reflective afternoon session, or an integration activity as part of a retreat or other programming. No experience needed—just curiousity.

I would love to create something meaningful together. Reach out to explore how art-journaling can serve your group.
